I had the honour of providing design services to ArtsJunktion, a local non-profit organization in Winnipeg, MB, dedicated to repurposing materials into art. This project involved rebranding efforts, including designing a new logo and developing brand guidelines.
Concept
The logo’s concept is to visually convey ArtsJunktion’s core values—Art, Community, and Environment. It conveys that ArtsJunktion is a supportive space where the creative community can access arts and crafts supplies and creative workshops while reducing waste production.
In this logo, the hand symbolizes community, an art palette symbolizes art, and the green takes the form of a leaf to represent the environment. Each colour is carefully chosen: bright green for eco-friendliness, light purple for wisdom and care, and bright red for positivity and creativity. These symbols are combined in a house shape to convey ArtsJunktion’s mission.
